Where We Started

Joe Rossi Sr. founded Rainbow Spectrum Cleaning in Jupiter in 1990, bringing with him a standard for cleanliness instilled by his Italian immigrant parents—people who believed that how you maintain a space reflects how you regard the people in it.

A Vietnam veteran who had built a long career at General Dynamics in Connecticut, Joe came to South Florida and put that standard to work in commercial cleaning. He and his wife, Cheryl, started with a single restaurant account and built from there.

The business grew through referrals and a reputation for consistent, quality work. Across Palm Beach County, Rainbow Spectrum Cleaning became the name business owners brought up when recommending a cleaning company to someone they respected.

The Next Generation

Starting in 2010, Joe’s son Joe Rossi stepped into the role as owner and operator, carrying forward the values and commitment that his parents had instilled in him throughout his life.

Joe had worked alongside his father for years before taking on the lead role. His approach to ownership is the same as his father’s: stay personally involved, stay reachable, and give every customer top-quality cleaning services, no matter the size of their space.

Lindsey, Joe’s wife, oversees Rainbow Spectrum’s finances, accounting, and office operations—the infrastructure that allows Joe to remain focused on client relationships and service quality. We are, in every sense, a family-run business!

Under Joe and Lindsey’s leadership, Rainbow Spectrum has grown to serve facilities across Palm Beach, Broward, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties, with more than 200 staff members cleaning more than seven million square feet every day.
